Discover the joy of playing the flute in this welcoming class designed for beginners. Students will learn the fundamentals of flute technique, tone production, reading music, and ensemble playing in a supportive environment. Perfect for those brand new to the instrument, this class builds a strong foundation while inspiring a lifelong love of music.

Beginning Flute

Build confident musicianship skills through fun and practical ear training and sight singing exercises. A must for all vocalists. Great for singers preparing for choirs, auditions, and musical theater. This class will meet virtually. Class size: 10
Vocal Lab: Musical Theater
Ages: 13–16
Day & Time: Saturdays @ 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: January 10, 2026
Tuition: $250 monthly
Step into the spotlight! This class explores vocal technique, acting through song, and ensemble work tailored to musical theater performance. This class will meet virtually. Class size: 7-10
🌟 KMVS Performance Ensemble
Ages: 14–17 (Adv. Beginning to Intermediate+ Singers)
Day & Time: Sundays @ 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Commitment: October 2025 – May 2026
Tuition: $250/month + $45 materials fee (one-time)
For passionate teen vocalists ready to perform, connect, and grow—KMVS Performance Ensemble is a dynamic acapella group class designed for advanced beginning through intermediate+ singers who are eager to take the stage and sharpen their artistry. Acceptance into the ensemble is made by in-person audition.
Students will:
🔶Rehearse and perform solo and ensemble repertoire across genres (classical, classical crossover, musical theater, and more)
🔶Develop stage presence, harmony blending, and expressive performance
🔶Receive coaching in audition techniques and stage professionalism
🔶Participate in two major performances during the 2025–2026 season
🔶Have access to additional community performance opportunities throughout the year
This class fosters confidence, creativity, and community—ideal for singers preparing for advanced study, audition, or future careers in music.
Spots are limited to ensure individualized coaching within the group.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the group classes?
Most group classes are 45 to 60 minutes, with the exception of the Performance Ensemble.
What if I need to miss a class?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to receive a makeup credit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may forfeit the lesson.
Is there a commitment required?
A 6-month minimum commitment is required for all group classes, with payment options available in full or on a monthly basis.
Can I take more than one class per week?
Yes! Becoming a well-rounded vocalist requires dedication and great musicality. In addition to group classes, students are encouraged to take private lessons and participate in workshops throughout the year.
Are refunds available?
Classes are non-refundable after the first class. A prorated refund may be provided or a transfer to a different class upon request.
How do I access lesson materials?
Materials are provided during class and are also accessible through our Student Portal.
Will students have performance opportunities?
Absolutely! All students are assumed to be performing in our two performance recitals every year. One in the late Fall/Early Winter, and in the Spring.
Can I observe my student's class?
Independence is encouraged for all of our students. Should you have any questions about your student's progress, please do not hesitate to ask!

Kenya Moses
Hello there! I’m Kenya Moses, and I’m so happy you’re here and ready to begin this vocal journey. I’ve been a professional singer for over 20 years, performing throughout the U.S., Canada, and Italy in a variety of musical styles - from Classical and Opera to Latin Jazz and Brazilian Bossa Nova; and have even contributed to Grammy nominated albums. Whether I’m on stage with my Brazilian Jazz ensemble, or performing classical works, music has is (and has always been) at the center of my life.
As a Professional Vocalist, Speaker, and award-winning Confidence Coach (and mother of two teens), I’ve had the joy of working with thousands of singers and leaders helping each of them build confidence, trust in their voice, and a deeper connection to their sound.
